The Tortoise and The Hare

An original twist on the popular fable. Starring Waluigi as the Hare and Burger Cat as the Tortoise.

Following the storyboards I’ve created above, I used my iPhone12 Mini on a mini tripod to record all of the shots. For the first shot, I placed my camera on an office chair to give it a smooth pan to the right to establish the setting. As for the long shot for the end-game scene, I held the camera with my hand as I needed full control of where the camera should be pointing towards since I had to record sixty seconds in one take for this project.

I found the sound editing portion to be more enjoyable than I anticipated. Recording the sound of my hands rubbing grass from outside and speeding it up really helped establishing the setting to feel like it was in a forest when you can see it’s really taking place inside my bedroom. I did this in hope to simulate that environment and create an immersive experience.

The stop-motion shot was recorded with Stop Motion Studio Pro.
